Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Vista Hermosa Colombian Coffee, a testament to the vision and dedication of farmer Everardo Ortiz. Nestled in Colombia’s Narino region, Vista Hermosa overlooks the Jamundy Canyon, offering a truly picturesque setting for coffee cultivation.

Everardo’s journey with coffee began with inheriting the farm from his father, where he raised his family and provided education for his children. Despite facing challenges, including the loss of his wife in 2017, Everardo remained steadfast in his commitment to the farm, driven by the desire to continue his family’s legacy in coffee.

Focused on growth and innovation, Everardo has achieved:

  • Expansion of the Farm: Planting 5,000 new trees, bringing the total to 12,000 Castillo trees.
  • Future Plans: Establish a wet mill on the property to streamline coffee processing and enhance efficiency.

Currently, Everardo relies on a nephew who lives nearby to process his coffee, but having a wet mill at Vista Hermosa would enable him to work more effectively and increase productivity. Through his dedication to quality and sustainability, Everardo ensures that each bean reflects the beauty and richness of the Colombian landscape.

Burwell Beans proudly sources this coffee through a direct farm relationship facilitated by Arango Specialty Coffee. From milling and processing to exporting and importing, Arango Specialty Coffee oversees every step, guaranteeing the highest quality and freshness.

By purchasing this coffee, you’re not just indulging in a superior cup; you’re also supporting Everardo’s commitment to sustainable farming practices and efficiency and the future of Vista Hermosa.

Join us in celebrating the passion and perseverance of farmers like Everardo, whose unwavering dedication shapes the flavors of each cup.
