Here are some common questions about Burwell Beans Coffee Roasters.
Are Your Coffees Organic?
We buy organic and fair trade coffees as much as possible. We are unable to label the bags as organic, as our roastery is not certified as Organic by the USDA. We are a small business and to have our roastery certified is costly. We plan to do this in the future and the Fair Trade registration.
Can I Pick-Up My Order?
We offer local pick-up at the Roastery, as well as shipping across the USA. Simply select local pick-up during checkout and you will get notified when your order is ready to collect. Pick-ups are during business hours unless arranged separately with us.
Do You Offer Free Shipping?
Free shipping is offered on orders of $40 or more. Some restrictions apply to equipment, which generally has a flat rate. We mostly use UPS Ground or UPS Surepost with two-day delivery locally.
How Soon Can I Get My Order?
Our coffees are freshly roasted to order and roasted on Mondays and Thursdays (holidays may differ). Orders received by 8.30am on a roast day will get roasted that day and bagged and shipped the same day. Pickups are available from noon onwards on a roast day.
If you need coffee sooner, you can always visit the roastery in Rowley MA, and buy bags of freshly roasted coffee. We cannot guarantee all of our coffees will be available but do keep a number of bags for walk-ins from recent roasts.
Do I Have To Pre-Order To Buy Coffee?
We roast to order in small batches and generally only roast enough for orders placed. If you need coffee before the next roast day, you can puchase freshly roasted bags in the roastery from recent roasts.

Do You Offer Ground Coffee Too?
Yes, we do! You can select the particular grind you would like when placing your order online. If you buy a pre-roasted bag in-store, we are happy to grind it for you too.
Are There Samples Available?
Is There A Subscription Program or Ways To Save?
Subscriptions are available on most of the coffees we offer. You save 5% when you subscribe. Our custom plans allow you to select the frequency you would like.
All orders earn reward points. You earn 1 point for every $1 spent and these points can be redeemed on future orders.
