Page One House Blend name was Inspired by Joe Henderson's classic jazz album, Page One. In fact, this was Burwell Beans' first offering and that began our adventure in specialty coffee roasting.
Blend of honey and natural processed varieties from Colombia (2,100 masl), Brazil (1,100 - 1,450 masl) and Ethiopia (2,250 -2,300 masl).
The honey processed Colombia beans are from the Aponte, Tablón de Gomez and Nariño region. Aponte is a small town and Indigenous reservation of the Inga people, located in the municipality of Tablón de Gómez, northeast of the department of Nariño. This region is also located in the Juananmbu canyon which has an elevation of 2100 masl. The beans are a varietal of Caturra, Colombia and Typica varieties.
The natural processed Brazil beans are from Fazenda Sertão, an 850-hectare farm in the Carmo de Minas and Minas Gerais regions.
This natural processed Ethiopian Heirloom variety coffee is from the Guji zone. Uraga is a woreda in the Guji zone, where coffee is grown on very small farms. The beans are grown at 2,250 - 2.300 masl and creates the wonderful floral perfume in the coffee.
